Today, I covered in honor of Podcast Listener Nicole's birthday, Ever After: A Cinderella Story(1998), starring Drew Barrymore and Anjelica Houston.

Movie Synopsis:

The Brothers Grimm arrive at the home of a wealthy Grande Dame who speaks of the many legends surrounding the fable of the cinder girl before telling the "true" story of her ancestor.

For having not ever seen this movie before I really enjoyed it. It was sweet and adorable and heartwarming. Drew Barrymore does an amazing job in this. I really disliked Anjelica Houston's character the Stepmother, but then again how could you not since she has no redeeming qualities.

The brunette stepsister Jacqueline was a sweetheart. I really hated how her mother and sister constantly fat shamed her throughout the movie.
