Big East commissioner Val Ackerman spoke about conference realignment on Tuesday, expressing confidence in the current member schools but hinting that expansion could happen when the league negotiates a new media rights deal in 2025. Ackerman also indicated the league had informal discussions with multiple schools, of which Mark Few and the Gonzaga Bulldogs almost certainly are included.
