The Gonzaga Bulldogs landed a three seed in the west region of the 2023 NCAA Tournament, a favorable draw by the Selection Sunday committee pitting the Bulldogs against WAC opponent and potential future WCC member Grand Canyon.

Grand Canyon shoots over 38% from deep and is led by Ray Harrison, but they finished fifth in the WAC and shouldn't be too much trouble for Mark Few's team. A second round matchup looms with a six seeded TCU team missing star forward Eddie Lampkin, or if the play-in winner between Arizona State and Nevada beats TCU.

We take a look at the rest of the region as well, including a banged up UCLA team, a fading Kansas squad, Saint Mary's as the five seed, former No. 1 team UConn as the four seed, and even Boise State and Northwestern as an intriguing 7-10 matchup.

We close out the show looking at Lisa Fortier's program, who received a nine seed in Seattle facing No. 8 Ole Miss - with a potential date against Stanford looming in the second round.
