The Gonzaga Bulldogs defeated the Dons of San Francisco in the WCC semifinals at the Orleans Arena on Monday night, setting up a showdown against the Saint Mary's Gaels for the championship.

Anton Watson had 20 points and Ben Gregg hit four threes, as USF chose not to defend Gonzaga's big men around the perimeter - a decision that may have cost them the game and ended the legendary career of point guard Kahlil Shabazz.

Saint Mary's sent BYU out of the WCC without having ever won a conference title, although the Cougars kept things interesting in the second half by using a press to stop the Gaels. Will Gonzaga once again utilize that 1-2-2 zone press to stop Aidan Mahaney, Logan Johnson, and the Gaels?

That is one of a handful of keys to a GU victory, including getting Drew Timme involved early, letting Julian Strawther cook, and trying to get into Randy Bennett's bench.
