Gonzaga Bulldogs 2022-23 season preview: Freshman forward Braden Huff

The college basketball season is nearly back, and Mark Few's Gonzaga Bulldogs are primed for another deep run into the NCAA Tournament. This year's squad features a ton of talent, including fan favorites, solid veterans, young guys looking to prove something, and incoming transfers ready to make an impact right away.
The group only has one freshmen though, a forward from Illinois named Braden Huff. In today's episode, we discuss how Huff ended up going from backup point guard as a freshman in high school to Mr. Illinois - awarded to the best player in the state.
Then, we talk about Huff's best and worst case scenarios for his freshman year. He may not see much of the court, but playing time doesn't tell much of the story for Huff - instead it will be how he matures, both physically and mentally, and prepares for a more impactful year two.
We discuss that second year in the final segment, looking at what Huff's career might look like in Spokane even if we don't see much of it in year one.
