Gonzaga Bulldogs 2022-23 season preview: Center Efton Reid

The college basketball season is nearly back, and Mark Few's Gonzaga Bulldogs are primed for another deep run into the NCAA Tournament. This year's squad features a ton of talent, including fan favorites, solid veterans, young guys looking to prove something, and incoming transfers ready to make an impact right away, much like Efton Reid.
Reid came to Gonzaga after one somewhat disappointing season under Will Wade at LSU. We talk about Reid's history, going from promising high school talent, to efficient but underutilized freshman at LSU, to coming to Gonzaga before Drew Timme made his decision.
Then, we talk about Reid's best and worst case scenarios for his first year in Spokane. Will a completely different offense and a brand new role show us a different version of Reid? Will he be ready to take on a starting role in 2023? How much will he play alongside Drew Timme this year?
