On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we look at the list of upcoming UFA and RFAs to determine who the Wild should try to sign long term and who they should look to move off the roster. We start with Filip Gustavsson, who needs to be the top priority for the Wild for what he has brought to the Wild this year and what he can bring to the roster beyond this season. We also give Matt Dumba a "definite no" and reiterate that it feels like his chapter with the Wild is going to be finished by the offseason at the latest. We also discuss a few impending free agents such as Freddy Gaudreau and Ryan Reaves, with a desire to see Freddy Gaudreau retained in a bottom 6 role. We discuss the need to retain Brandon Duhaime long term, especially with Jordan Greenway on the trade block, and look at the Sam Steel chapter maybe leaning towards him being moved off the roster.
