On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we recap the 3-1 loss to Toronto. Toronto, despite their struggles is still a very dangerous team at home. The Wild gave a better effort, and were once again in it until the end despite getting worked in the faceoff circle. We look at why overall faceoffs might not be a concern, but in games like this a lack of wins can limit opportunities needed for late comebacks. We discuss why Kaapo Kahkonen continues to be so good, and point out a subtle difference that may lead to Kaapo succeeding while Cam Talbot continues to be inconsistent. We finish by discussing the centers, and if changes need to be made. Freddy Gaudreau seems to be the only center who doesn't need to be potentially swapped. Would switching Joel Eriksson Ek and Ryan Hartman help get Hartman back on track? Would the GREEF line lose their defensive magic without JEEK as their center?
