On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we discuss three huge factors for success in the second half for the Wild. We start with Freddy Gaudreau. If he is able to continue to help the success of the Fiala-Gaudreau-Boldy line and add offense to that group, Bill Guerin will be less inclined to make a major deadline trade. While Gaudreau started as mostly a defensive center, he has added more offense in the last few weeks to up his value. We look at the goalie situation, and why the Wild do not have a true starter-backup split. Kaapo Kahkonen needs to get more regular starts, and not just against the bottom feeders, to make sure he doesn't get rusty or thrown back into action after a lengthy absence. And finally we discuss Bill Guerin, and how he will navigate injuries such as Matt Dumba right now, and the trade deadline to keep this team firing on all cylinders.
