The Real Issues with the Power Play and Penalty Kill

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Alexis Pearson of the Bardown Beauties Podcast joins the show to give her assessment of the first 11 games of the Minnesota Wild season. We discuss who has been the biggest MVP so far between Ryan Hartman and Marcus Foligno. We also look at how Brandon Duhaime has become such a fan favorite for Wild fans with his play so far this season. We look at whether or not the Wild's Power Play and Penalty Kill are concerns or just simply off to slow starts. Both Seth and Alexis agree that both are off to slow starts, with the Wild needing to stop taking so many bad penalties. We also discuss whether or not we are concerned with Cam Talbot's start, again looking at the small sample size being off to a slow start. We finish the episode with Alexis giving a preview of the Minnesota Whitecaps season and Winny Brodt-Brown returning for one more season to try to claim a championship.
