The Best Players the Central Division Has to Offer

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Zach Zeman joins the show to discuss which players are the best in the Central Division. We start by wondering if we need to be concerned about Marco Rossi not playing in tonight's preseason game against Colorado. Is it just a day off? Or is the team leaning toward him starting the season in Iowa? We will get our first look at Kirill Kaprizov and most of the regulars will also be playing, which is the bright side to Rossi being held out.

We then move to the best players the Central Division has to offer. Cam Talbot gets narrowly edged out by Marc-Andre Fleury and Connor Hellebuyck for the top goalies in the division. In Zach's Central Division lineup, the Wild to get Kirill Kaprizov on the top line. As we look at the top forward lines throughout the Central, the Wild end up with one of the top lines behind Colorado. On defense we discuss whether or not Jared Spurgeon and Jonas Brodin are the best defensemen tandem in the divison, with the top overall defender going to Cale Makar. We finish the episode looking at each team's top Power Play unit, with the Wild again finishing near the top.
