Season Series Recaps for St. Louis, Vegas and Colorado

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Seth recaps the season series against St. Louis, Vegas and Colorado. The Wild struggled the most against St. Louis in the 2021 season. We attempt to find ways the Wild can improve next season, and look at how Kaapo Kahkonen especially struggled against the Blues this year. On offense no one really stood out in the season series, but the Wild did get some nice play from Nico Sturm. The penalty kill will need a lot of improvement against the Blues next year.

Against the Golden Knights, the Wild were pretty evenly matched across the board. Kaapo Kahkonen and Cam Talbot both played well against Vegas, and Kirill Kaprizov had a very nice series against the Golden Knights in the regular season. Marc-Andre Fleury kept the Golden Knights in it almost every game he played, and the Wild just need to keep up their strong play heading into next year. Against the Avalanche, both goalies struggled and the Wild couldn't keep Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and Gabriel Landeskog quiet the entire series.
