Locked on Wild POSTCAST: Wild Ride 5 Power Play Goals and Perfect Penalty Kill to 6-4 Win

The Minnesota Wild held on for a 6-4 win over the Florida Panthers on the strength of 5 Power Play goals and a 5/5 performance on the Penalty Kill as they shook off a rough loss against Tampa Bay last night. The Wild scored first on a Power Play goal from Kirill Kaprizov to make it 1-0. After the Panthers tied the score 1-1, the Wild scored 3 straight goals from Ryan Hartman, Joel Eriksson Ek and Mats Zuccarello to make it 4-1. The Panthers made a goalie change after falling behind 4-1, and the Wild had to bring Filip Gustavsson in after Marc-Andre Fleury left the game injured midway through. The Panthers cut the lead to 4-2 with time winding down in the second period, but the Wild pushed back to a 5-2 lead on Kirill Kaprizov's second goal of the game. The Panthers scored two straight to cut it to 5-4, but Ryan Hartman scored an empty net goal to seal the win. The Wild also lost Connor Dewar to injury in the second period. The Wild head to Carolina for their next game on Sunday.
