The Minnesota Wild beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 on Wednesday night in Winnipeg to improve to 9-0-2 in their last 11 games and move into a tie for first place in the Central Division. The Wild got out to a 2-0 lead on goals from Marcus Foligno and Freddy Gaudreau before Winnipeg answered in the 2nd to make it 2-1. Ryan Hartman picked up his 10th goal to push the lead back out to 2 goals but Nino Niederreiter scored as time wound down in the 2nd to make it 3-2. Mason Shaw scored an empty net goal to cap the scoring as Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 46 of 48 shots to seal the win. Kirill Kaprizov left the game in the 3rd period after an awkward fall in which he got tangled up under Logan Stanley and did not return to the game. The Wild are at San Jose on Saturday for their next game.
