On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Alex Micheletti joins for a #MichelettiMonday as we recap both games against the Panthers and Lightning. While it is encouraging that the Wild were able to hang with both teams, how concerned are we with the goaltending we've seen so far this year? Is it possible we saw the best that Cam Talbot and Kaapo Kahkonen have to offer last year?

We then discuss the Jared Spurgeon injury situation. Jordie Benn didn't make any glaring mistakes in his return to the lineup, but the Wild are going to be better served playing Calen Addison to fill Spurgeon's spot in the lineup. While there hasn't been any timeline on Spurgeon's injury, it certainly seems like he's going to be out for a while.

What is going on with Kevin Fiala? We look at the timeline of events that has led to Fiala seeing less playing time recently. How much of what goes on is actually his fault? Will Fiala ultimately get traded? If Fiala does end up getting moved, the Wild have two guys in Iowa who are absolutely on fire in Marco Rossi and Matt Boldy. Boldy showed absolutely no rust in his return to the lineup and Rossi continues to be great this year. They should end up in Minnesota at some point this year.
