On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we debunk an article written by The Hockey News which suggests that Bill Guerin's "gamble" on buying out Zach Parise and Ryan Suter is starting to backfire leaving Guerin on the hot seat. We look at why a 10 game sample size is not nearly enough to make the claim that the season is starting to unravel, considering the Wild were weathering injuries and COVID-19 postponements at the time. We also look at prospects that are set for a large role next year, which was overlooked by the article. The article also suggested that the Wild will be "gutted" in the offseason. We flip the argument on it's head, and look at the ways in which Bill Guerin has been doing well, such as free agent signings, drafting, and instilling a winning culture here in Minnesota. While the National Media might not look deep enough to know what is actually going on, Locked on Wild has seen enough to confidently disagree.
