Are the Wild Getting Enough National Media Attention?

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, we look at how the National Media are reacting to the Wild's 3-0 start to the season. We start with the Locked on NHL Power Rankings, compiled by votes from Locked on NHL hosts. The Wild come in at 11 in those rankings, which seems a little low considering the teams in front of them. We move toward National Power Rankings from CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated and NBC Sports, in which the Wild crack the top 10 in each one, with the Wild making the top 5 a couple of times. The consensus seems to be that the Wild's start is for real and should be taken seriously.

We move to the Central division to take the temperature of each team's start and which stocks we should be buying and which we should be selling. As for the Wild, Blues and Avalanche, the decision to buy is pretty obvious even with Colorado off to a slow start. We aren't sure what to think of the Stars yet, so we are holding on them, while aggressively selling Nashville, Arizona, Chicago and Winnipeg stock. Those four teams have shown many concerning things through their first few games of the year!
