It was an ugly, forgettable series in Cleveland for our Chicago White Sox. The Sox lost on Thursday, 6-3. The Sox scored only 5 runs in the series and had numerous fielding mistakes as well as base running blunders. In a surprising move, Leury Garcia batted third in lineup during two of the three games. Dylan Cease was not his sharp self during the series finale. He was serviceable but gave up 4 earned runs in 5+ innings of work. The White hope to get AJ Pollock and Lucas Giolito back for the Minnesota series however Luis Robert left Thursday's game in the 8th innings due to a groin injury. Hopefully our White Sox can leave their offensive woes in Cleveland and start fresh with Kopech on the hill Friday night in Minnesota. Go Sox.
