Despite having 9 hits and 13 baserunners, the Chicago White Sox could not score a run and lost to the Baltimore Orioles , 4-0. The Orioles played some outstanding defense stealing potential hits from Jose Abreu, AJ Pollock, Gavin Sheets and Jake Burger. White Sox starter, Johnny Cueto, was serviceable as he allowed only 3 runs in a little over 5 innings. It was the first time this season that Cueto did not go at least 6 innings during a start. Prior to the game, the White Sox called up prospect, Lenyn Sosa, from AA Birmingham. Sosa was not in the starting lineup but saw playing time when Josh Harrison was hit by a pitch and left the game. Sosa went 0-1 with a strikeout and walk. The White Sox look to bounce back on Friday against the Orioles as they send Michael Kopech to the mound.
