The Chicago White Sox could not get the sweep on the South Side as they lose to the Seattle Mariners, 5-1. The White Sox only had four hits and committed more errors than runs scored. Leury Garcia was playing second base in place of the injured Josh Harrison. Garcia committed both errors and was 0-4 at the plate. Jose Abreu, Luis Robert and Andrew Vaughn were also hitless for the White Sox. The Seattle Mariners were able to use the windy conditions to their advantage and hit three home runs. Despite the lose, The White Sox won the series and welcome the Tampa Bay Rays to town for three games beginning on Friday. It's Jackie Robinson Day on Friday and Liam Hendriks bobblehead day on Saturday. Go Sox.
