The Chicago White Sox absolutely failed in Kansas City as they now close in on last place in the AL Central. The Sox (13-26) lost the series finale against the Kansas City Royals, 4-3. Sox lost three of four to the last place Royals. If the Sox continue their current ways, they will be in last place by the end of the weekend. Sox were lifeless at the plate against Royals starter Brady Singer, who had an ERA north of 8 coming into Thursday's game. Fingers can be pointed, and should be pointed, in many directions but we are witnessing the results of a poorly constructed roster during a pathetic offseason. Players are not performing, managers and coaches can't seem to fix it and a front office that's been in place longer than it should be, is watching it happen. White Sox great, Jose Abreu, returns to the South Side for a homecoming as the Houston Astros take on the White Sox for three games starting on Friday.
