The Chicago White Sox played in their 48th game of the season on Wednesday night and it was the 48th different lineup used. AJ Pollock was in the lead off spot and he made it count by hitting a homerun to start the game. The Toronto Blue Jays answered with their own lead off homerun in the bottom of the first and continued to hammer away at White Sox starter Michael Kopech. He only last 3 innings and gave up 5 runs. It was one of his worst outings of the year. The White Sox got more offense from Danny Mendick, Jake Burger and a big homerun from Jose Abreu but it just wasn't enough. White Sox issued too many walks and the Toronto Blue Jays made them pay. White Sox send Johnny Cueto to the mound to help get things back on track during Thursday's series finale.
