Mailbag Wednesday: The Chicago White Sox will win 90 games and win the AL Central... if healthy. MLB.com made some AL Central predictions recently and they like the White Sox to finish in first place and win 90 games. The prediction, of course, is reliant on a healthy roster. Are the recent injuries to Yoan Moncada and Eloy Jimenez a fluke or is there serious concern? Jimenez should be back in the lineup on Wednesday and Moncada is still day-to-day but maybe, just maybe these recent injuries are just that: injuries. Perhaps there is nothing major to read into and life will go back to normal any day now. Maybe. Lucas Giolito had a solid outing against the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday afternoon as he fine tunes a few things before the season starts. Sox beat the Brewers by a score of 6-5 on Tuesday afternoon. Michael Kopech gets high praise from pitching coach Ethan Katz and catcher Seby Zavala. It has not been made official but it seems like a foregone conclusion that Dylan Cease will be the Opening Day starter... and things are lining up for that to happen.
