Luis Robert Jr. changed his mind and will represent the Chicago White Sox in the home run derby, too. Robert Jr. has 25 home runs and is a force to be reckoned with right now. After dismissing the derby because of potential injury or the affects it might have on his swing, Robert Jr. has decided to have some fun with it and participate. He will be the first White Sox player to hit in the derby since 2016 when Todd Frazier participated. General manager, Rick Hahn, addressed the media recently and was non committal on the team's future plans but praised the past few months of play as if they were extraordinary. Hahn seems to be banking on the Sox catching fire soon, which may lead to a division title then a chance for the White Sox to do damage in October. White Sox were postponed on Wednesday due to weather in Chicago and will play a doubleheader on Thursday. Lance Lynn will be the Game 1 starter.
