Luis Robert and Johnny Cueto fueled the Chicago White Sox to a 12-2 defeat of the Minnesota Twins

The Chicago White Sox destroyed the Minnesota Twins on Thursday night, 12-2. It was the first game in this critical four game series. The Sox had 17 hits and 5 of those were for extra bases. Luis Robert was 3 for 5 in the game and had 5 RBIs. He hit a a grand slam in the 4th inning to bust the game open. Jose Abreu, Tim Anderson and Andrew Vaughn all had multiple hits. White Sox pitching was excellent once again. Sox starter, Johnny Cueto, went 6 innings and threw 118 pitches. He was magnificent. Sox bullpen featured Jimmy Lambert, Tanner Banks and Jose Ruiz. It was only the first game of the series but it was a perfect way to start. The White Sox look to make it three in a row and get back to .500 on Friday night as they send Michael Kopech to the mound.
