The Chicago White Sox beat the Kansas City Royals by a score of 9-2 on Tuesday night. It was a new day and a completely different offense from the White Sox. As a team, they had 14 hits and two of those hits left the ballpark. Eloy Jimenez was 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs and Andrew Vaughn had three hits including his first career triple. White Sox starter, Lucas Giolito, only went five innings but the Sox bullpen was up to the task of covering four innings. The only trade deadline acquisition for the White Sox was left-handed reliver, Jake Diekman, and he made his debut on Tuesday pitching a scoreless 6th inning. The White Sox go for the series win on Wednesday afternoon.
