It's decision time for the Chicago White Sox and if Leury Garcia is out, then will Hanser Alberto be in? Reports spread quickly though social media on Sunday that Leury Garcia, the longest tenured Chicago White Sox player, will NOT be on the Opening Day roster. It's a surprise since he has money owed and time left on his contract. Infielder, Hanser Alberto, has had a very special spring and if he is awarded a roster spot, it's because he absolutely earned it. Rumored swirled that right fielder, Oscar Colas, will also make the Opening Day roster. Colas has had an impressive spring and deserves the opportunity. Sox fans also got word recently that Dylan Cease will get the start on Opening Day, a spot held by Lucas Giolito in the past. Cease had a nice tune up on Friday against Oakland and seems to be in a great place. The White Sox also announced that AJ Pierzynski will be throwing out the first pitch during the Home Opener on April 3rd. Michel Kopech will get the start for the White Sox.
