Hanser Alberto hit a three run homerun and Dylan Cease went five innings as the Chicago White Sox beat the Twins, 4-3. Cease had to work through three fielding errors behind him, which definitely added more stress and pitches to his arm. Cease issued only one earned run in his five innings of work. The White Sox bullpen was outstanding against a depleted Minnesota Twins lineup. The bullpen pitched four innings, issued one hit and struck out seven. Offensively, the Sox score all their runs in one inning and hung on thanks to Reynaldo Lopez getting a four out save to nail things down. Lopez hit 100 mph several times during his outing. Prior to Monday's game, the Sox put Joe Kelly on the injured list with a groin strain and held Moncada out of the lineup due to lower back stiffness. During the game, Tim Anderson collided with a Twins runner and left the game with a sore knee. He is day-to-day. The White Sox look to make it two in a row for the first time all year as they send Lance Lynn to the mound in Minnesota on Tuesday.
