Dylan Cease had a rough outing as White Sox pitching has been a disappointment. Sox lose to KC, 12-5. A day after the Sox scored 17 runs and had 18 hits, they turned in a 5 run, 8 hit performance. White Sox starter, Dylan Cease, has scuffled as of late and Monday's outing against the Kansas City Royals was an unfortunate performance. Cease went 5 innings and gave up 7 earned runs. Sox reliever, Aaron Bummer, did not help matters as he lasted only two-thirds of an inning and gave up 4 earned runs. Sox offense had opportunities to pile the runs on against Zack Greinke but could not make it hurt. The Sox (12-24) need to go on a massive winning streak if they want to turn things around. They can't simply rely on winning a few here and there. Lucas Giolito is on the mound for the Sox on Tuesday as they hopefully will get back on track.
