The Chicago White Sox had an off day on Monday and will begin an important stretch of 19 games starting on Tuesday night in Colorado against the Rockies. Michael Kopech takes the hill for the White Sox. This past Sunday, Chicago White Sox legend Minnie Miñoso was finally inducted into the baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Miñoso was the 1951 Rookie of the Year, batted .300 or higher ten times and was the first black Cuban to play for the White Sox. He had his No. 9 retired by the White Sox in 1983 and a statue was unveiled at the ballpark in 2004. Unfortunately, Minnie Miñoso passed away in 2015 but his legacy will live on forever not only with White Sox fans but with baseball fans all over the world.
