Chicago White Sox bounced back from the lopsided Home Opener loss and beat the San Francisco Giants, 7-3. Sox had an off day on Tuesday and were dealt some difficult news regarding Eloy Jimenez prior to Wednesday's game but the White Sox got help from a cast of characters and improved to (3-3) on the young season. Starter, Dylan Cease did not have anywhere near his Opening Night stuff but labored through five innings and only issued one earned run. For the most part, the bullpen kept things in check. Joe Kelly struggled in the ninth inning, giving up a pair of runs. Offensively, the Sox got help from Gavin Sheets, Luis Robert, Yoan Moncada and Andrew Vaughn. Elvis Andrus got his long awaited 2,000th hit and utility player, Hanser Alberto had an RBI single. Designated hitter/outfielder, Eloy Jimenez, suffered a low grade hamstring injury and will missed two to three weeks. He suffered the injury while running the bases on Monday. The Sox go for their first series win of the season as they send Lance Lynn to hill on Thursday afternoon.
