The 2022 Chicago White Sox season in over. The White Sox lost to the Minnesota Twins on Wednesday by a score of 10-1. The Sox finished the season with an (81-81) record. It was an up and down season for the Sox from the get go so it's only fitting that the White Sox end up with a .500 record. This 2022 season will be remembered as one of the most disappointing seasons in franchise history. After comfortably winning the division in 2021, the expectation were at an all time high back in the spring. Aside from looking for a new manager, the front office will need to answer several questions regarding current players and try to address lineup holes in a creative manner. It's no easy task but serious changes need to occur if the White Sox are to compete for the AL Central title in 2023.
