In another odd twist in college football recruiting, Lincoln Riley finds it tough to attract a quarterback through the transfer portal. His latest target chose Georgia over USC, and this one is hard to understand. Is NIL and paying a backup QB the only way to move forward?

USC has two scholarship QBs and a walk-on. If spring camp were to open tomorrow or even next week, the Trojans would not have enough quarterbacks to hold a practice. Where does Lincoln Riley go from here since the available transfer quarterbacks pool isn't very deep?
