Anton Khudobin was once the backbone of the Dallas Stars Hockey Club. He played his heart out in the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs and nearly brought his team to the promised land. But, two years later, he finds himself in no-man's land. Khudobin (36 years old) is coming off hip surgery. The goaltending positions for the organization seem to be locked up at the NHL and AHL level, leaving Dobby as the odd man out. What should the Stars organization do? Should they keep Khudobin for the last year of his contract? Should they trade him? Is there a market for him? Which team would potentially be interested in Anton's services?
