The Dallas Stars (9-5-1) went into Philadelphia on Sunday in desperate need of a win. They found what they were looking for in a dominant 5-1 over the Flyers. The best part of the game was watching rookie Matej Blümel score his first NHL goal. Blümel has not had an easy path the the NHL, but his hard work and dedication continues to inspire and he appears to have a bright future. Jake Oettinger also played an excellent game in in a much needed bounce-back performance (37 saves). The Stars continue to roll while getting production from all over their lineup. They are one of the best teams in the NHL in terms of value (production based on money spent).
