The Dallas Stars lose in regulation for the first time this season 4-1 against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Another slow start and lack of execution offensively leads to an underwhelming performance on home ice. In today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey breaks down the Stars loss, and why the Stars must have better starts if they want to have success. After a dominating 2nd period saw the Stars tie the game at 1 thanks to Mason Marchment, the Maple Leafs scored late in the period to take 2-1 lead into the third. However, the power play failing to score at a big moment and the penalty kill surrendering the first goal of the season, Toronto closed out the game in the 3rd period. Dallas was not able to solve Rookie goalie Joseph Woll who played outstanding and picked up his 3rd win of the season. Pete DeBoer has shuffled up the lines looking for offense, Joey thinks they are getting plenty of chances, but just not hitting the net when they get those opportunities. The Stars are back in action on Monday against Columbus.
