The Dallas Stars seem to have found their guy. Former Vegas Golden Knights head coach Pete DeBoer is set to the next head coach of the Dallas Stars (per Elliotte Friedman on Twitter). Today we discuss why this is a very safe and underwhelming hire. DeBoer brings tons of NHL experience to the table, but he is known recently for struggles in the playoffs and for having a rocky relationship with some VGK players. Will these issues persist in Dallas? Will DeBoer be able to take the Stars to the next level and have them compete for a Stanley Cup soon?
