Logan Stankoven has been announced as the winner of the David Branch Player of the Year Award which is awarded to the CHL's most outstanding player. Stankoven played his most recent season with the Kamloops Blazers with a chip on his shoulder. He believed he should have been taken in the first round of the 2021 NHL Draft, so he came out motivated. He and Wyatt Johnston will be looking to make the NHL roster this summer at Dallas Stars training camp. Could it be possible that they are the next great Dallas Stars forward duo?
