While it looks like the Oklahoma Sooners and Texas Longhorns will stick around throughout the duration of their current media rights agreement with the Big 12, there's a chance they could leave early for the SEC if they can negotiate a reasonable buyout. What could the Big 12 look like in a 14-team league if the conference decides not to use divisions?

The NCAA is considering removing the stipulation that conferences of more than 12 teams must have divisions for their conference championship, instead allowing them to pit the top two teams from their conference against each other in the conference championship game.
