The New Orleans Saints have begun their annual chipping away at the NFL salary cap deficit by restructuring the contract of Erik McCoy. How they did it, how much they save, and how much they have left to do. The Saints also announced their offensive coaching staff members including new addition DeNarius McGhee as assistant wide receivers coach.

The additions of McGhee and Keith Williams to the Saints' offensive overhaul overseen by new OC Klint Kubiak could suggest a changing of the prototype at wideout considering their successes with Zay Flower and Tank Dell in 2023. What that could mean for the Saints and playmakers in this year's 2024 NFL Draft like Malachi Corley and Malik Washington.
