New Orleans Saints, Jerrod Johnson another home run OC candidate

The New Orleans Saints have aligned themselves with another home run candidate in Houston Texans QB coach Jerrod Johnson. He was fantastic with C.J. Stroud and Kirk Cousins in his QB coach experience and has had time working with coaches from each the Frank Reich tree (Reich himself), Sean McVay tree (Kevin O'Connell) and the Kyle Shanahan tree (Demeco Ryans and Bobby Slowik).

The Saints would have trouble landing a legitimate playmaker in this year's 2024 NFL draft were the selection process to begin today. Obviously the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine will change things, but for now, New Orleans will do best if they stay put targeting the trenches. Oregon State OT Taliese Fuaga would be a fantastic selection at 14 to help anchor their offensive line for the future.
