The Cincinnati Reds seem to not have a plan for young players when they reach the Major Leagues. The Reds could be a fun team to watch, though, once they figure it out this season, but the problem will be how far out of first place and far below-.500 the Reds will be when that happens. Which brings up the question: is David Bell skating on thin ice? Why he probably isn't and why Barry Larkin shouldn't be the defect choice, if Bell were to be let go.
