The Cincinnati Reds have played two games and there are already a few players starting to stand out, for good and bad reasons. Will Benson, Luke Weaver, and Matt McLain all saw their stocks rise for the Reds. Benson could bring a speed element that the Reds have not seen in a few years, along with his power. Weaver reportedly has four pitches he is working with which could increase the chances of him pitching in the Reds rotation. McLain's walk-off home run was nice and if it is any indication of him adding power to his game then he will live up to the first round pick the Reds spent on him. On the flip side, Daniel Norris, Alan Busenitz, and Tyron Guerrero took a step back right out of the gate. These guys are trying to make the bullpen out of camp for the Reds and if Norris really has a slow fastball, if Busenitz can't keep the ball in the park, and if Guerrero can't throw strikes, then none of them will make it.
