The Cincinnati Reds mismanaged their way to an Opening Day Loss. Hunter Greene was pulled after recording just 10 outs for the Reds. David Bell must allow Greene to work longer into games if the Reds will be better this year. The lineup struggled for the Reds but Spencer Steer was not a struggle. He clobbered his first home run of the season to begin the Year of Steer for the Reds. Overall, though, we cannot overreact to one performance by the Reds lineup, as much as we may want to. Also, Opening Day in Cincinnati is like no other but the Reds may have missed an opportunity.
