Happy Friday! The Pittsburgh Penguins will be back in action twice over the weekend as they have back-to-back games on the road! To start today's show, Hunter gives some updates following practice as Jeff Carter looks to be alright, though Jason Zucker was absent. Was it a maintenance day? Is he sick? Hunter dives into it as he's still going to be traveling with the team on the road. He also touches on Evgeni Malkin's return and why it's not a moment too soon. The Penguins will potentially have their first full complement of forwards for the first time this season. Who will the odd-man-out be? Hunter gets to that, plus what the goaltending rotation may look like. He then previews the game against the Detroit Red Wings as this will be the final time the Penguins play them until next season. He goes over what their lineup will look li,e plus what the penguins need to do in order to win their second in a row. He does the same in the final segment as he previews the game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday. When was the last time the Penguins had a chance to sweep them in a regular-season? Are they all checked out at this point? Finally, Hunter looks at the standings and touches on how the Penguins will almost have the third seed locked up heading into next week if they sweep this back-to-back.
