The news is starting to dry up but that doesn't mean there's nothing to talk about when it comes to the Pittsburgh Penguins. Hunter starts Tuesday's show off by diving into Ryan Poehling since he was basically forgotten about during the last couple of episodes. What kind of player are the Penguins getting in him? What do the underlyings look like? Could this be a true change of scenery? Hunter dives into all of those questions, especially the last one since he wasn't panning out in Montreal. He also looks at which players he would best with and how getting him carries very little risk for this season. Following that, Hunter dives into grading Ron Hextall's offseason so far and eats some of his words after criticizing him a few weeks ago. He gives his grade and the reasoning for it, while also again saying that more work needs to be done. He then gives what his final grade could be if he's able to fix the elephant in the room with two months to go. Finally, Hunter ends the show with some silly season talk about Matthew Tkachuk and how much fun it would be if the Penguins got him (no, it's not happening). All that, plus much more on this episode of Locked On Penguins.
