Full Penguins-Rangers Crossover Preview!

Happy Monday! The Pittsburgh Penguins are just one day away from Game 1 against the New York Rangers and for today's episode, Hunter is joined by Gil Martin to preview the series. Gil is in for Jon Chik, who's the regular host of Locked On Rangers as he just had a baby with his wife. Gil and Hunter start the show by going into the Penguins and the biggest storylines for them coming into this series. They get into the goaltending and how good Casey DeSmith has to be for the Penguins to win this series. Hunter also updates the listeners on when Tristan Jarry could be back in this series. Gil then asks Hunter about the Penguins' defensive struggles down the stretch and how they can get back to being that stingy defensive team that they were for most of the season. After that, Hunter asks Gil about the big storylines for the Rangers and it all starts in goal with Igor Shesterkin. The two then talk about the Rangers PP and how the Penguins will have to slow down Chris Kreider, plus how the Rangers played after the deadline with how their underlying numbers improved. Finally, both hosts give players to watch in this series and give their x-factors before making their series predictions.
