Since the departure of Greg Olsen, the tight end has become an endangered species in Carolina. The Panthers have failed to find a successor and have utilized its tight ends the least in the NFL since 2020. Can new Panthers head coach Dave Canales finally get this position group to be a consistent part of the offenses receiving game?

Hurst arrived from Cincinnati after posting career-highs in several statistical categories but failed to live up to expectations after a strong debut in Week 1.
