On today's Western Conference Tuesday edition of Locked on NHL, Seth Toupal and Nick Morgan start by discussing the news that Barry Trotz pulled the plug on an extended Vegas stay for Nashville after they got demolished by Dallas. They discuss whether Trotz is in the right, and Seth tries to look at the situation from the player's perspective. They move to one of the craziest games of the season, a 10-7 win for the Wild over Vancouver. Seth tries to paint a picture, while also wondering if the Canucks will take exception to Kaprizov scoring with 1.9 seconds remaining because of what Morgan Riley did in a similar situation against Ottawa. They finish by looking at the Oilers and whether or not they can use their games in hand to vault into the 2nd or top spot in the Pacific Division. Nick looks at not only their opponents coming up, but also the grueling stretch they have to finish the season in March and April, as a question they will have to find a way to answer.
