On February 13th 2023, Ted Lerner passed away at the age of 97. Ted Grew up as an usher for the Washington Senators at Griffith Stadium in DC & grew up a HUGE baseball fan. His one goal in life as he continued his journey, was he wanted to bring baseball back to the Nation's Capital. And he did just that, and topped it off with opening a beautiful stadium that we call home now. Ryan remembers his life on today's show. MLB made some permanent changes this offseason regarding some of the rules, and the ghost runner on 2nd base will now be a permanent fixture in extra innings during the regular season. How does Ryan feel about that? Not only was that rule enabled, but they are now adding a pitch clock that forces pitchers to work in a timely manner. Ryan discusses it all today, and wraps up with those thoughts.
